2010 Registration Info

It’s not too late to register to play with Normo Eagles in 2010. We still have places for players in all age groups. Each player will receive their own 2010 playing shirt and shorts.

POSTPONED - Mini Skills Clinic Tues 9th Feb 
Due to the heavy rain over the past few days and in the likelihood that Hornsby Council will close grounds for pre-season training, the Mini Skills clinic for U6, U7 and U8 has been postponed to Tuesday 16 February 5.30 pm at Normanhurst Oval.

On 16 February - all players are requested to arrive a minimum of 15 minutes prior to the session.   No football boots allowed - training shoes only permitted.

Club Secretary Wanted
The position of Club Secretary at Normanhurst Eagles Football Club is currently vacant. Gayle George is kindly filling this role whilst we seek a replacement. If you are able to, and would like to help our Club, we would love to hear from you. Football NSW Project 22
Project 22, recently launched by Football NSW, is an elite player development program aimed at producing future Socceroos and Matildas to represent Australia in the World Cup in 2022. The Project is centred on Football NSW being able to exceed world best practice in providing an elite competition and training environment for our future National Team players. The aim of the program is to lay down the foundations required to give the best youth footballers in the State the highest chance possible to succeed at the elite level as adult footballers.

The best players in the U9 to U14 age groups across NSW have been selected and invited to participate.

We are proud to announce that three of our junior members have been successful in gaining selection to the North Area region of Project 22:

♦ Jack Axam 9 years from 2009 U8 Blue’s

♦ Joto Miyachi 10 years from 2009 U9/1s

♦ Aidan Smith 10 years from 2009 U9/1s

Fantastic news – congratulations, and well done to the boys!

This is quite an achievement, and a clear indication that the Club’s coaching programs are delivering the best possible opportunities for ALL our young players.

The future of Normanhurst Eagles indeed looks bright!

CLUB INFORMATION  
 
NEFC is one of the largest football clubs in North West Sydney with over 54 mini, junior and senior teams. We play in the GHFA and the NWSWF.

We pride ourselves in providing opportunities for all grades and types of football players, from 5 years young to 50+ years young; from social players to elite standard; girls, boys, mixed, women and men. Visit regularly for a multitude of statistics, photographs, match results and match reports to read each week.
